The government has extended the duration of restrictions on the export of petrol, diesel fuel, and a range of other petroleum products from Russia for an additional five months, until 31st July 2026. The corresponding decree was published on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers on 31st January.

The decision is aimed at maintaining a stable situation in the Russian fuel market, as explained by the government press service. The ban does not apply to supplies under intergovernmental agreements and humanitarian deliveries.
